Our Infection control data  to date shows that since the end of the second quarter of 2018 when we implemented the Bioteqq disinfection system our rates have been below 10 and continue to trend downward. Our YTD in comparison to previous years is at  the lowest over a 4yr review. We are very pleased with the system and continue to look at additional ways to incorporate it into our daily practice to reduce exposure risks. 

Previously we utilized our Housekeeping staff to sanitize areas where infections were considered possible. We now are using the Bioteqq system each time a room is vacated prior to the admission of a new patient. We have also used it in staff areas; offices and breakrooms. Since we started using this system, PNRC has had ZERO COVID positive residents and we believe that our successes in keeping COVID-19 from affecting our residents is due in part to the Bioteqq system.
